Thrift Stores

Some of the financial support for Lutheran Counseling & Family Services is generated by our six Thrift Stores located in Wisconsin. In the past, the Thrift Stores have generated approximately 25% of our income. The proceeds from the Thrift Stores help subsidize the services provided to those individuals and families who do not have any other means to pay for our services. Our Thrift Stores are run solely by volunteers. Currently, there are no paid staff. Items can be donated by calling the Thrift Store nearest you. Some of the Thrift Stores are unable to take large pieces of furniture due to limited storage facilities. Our Thrift Stores also serve as a resource avenue for families in the community who may have suffered an unexpected tragedy, such as a fire, tornado, or other storm.

If you would like to volunteer at one of the Thrift Stores, please call the store directly and ask for the Store Manager.
