LCFS
Advocates - Opportunities to Serve
Financial
support of Lutheran Counseling and Family Services of Wisconsin comes
from thrift store receipts, church donations, individual donations,
insurance payments, and grants from foundations or corporations.
Although LCFS is a recognized social ministry organization of The
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we receive no funding from the Synod or
District Offices. Therefore we rely on the support of individuals just
like you.
The following is
a listing of some of the many ways that you can help support the
programs offered by LCFS.
- Volunteer at one of the Thrift
Stores.
- Volunteer at the Visions
of Chocolate Annual Event.
- Host a fundraiser at your
school, church, or other meeting place. Such as a fish fry,
dance-a-thon, bowling marathon, family walk/run, craft fair, bake sale,
etc... If a staff person of LCFS is available at the time of your
event, we will attend to answer any questions and show our support for
your organization.
- Volunteer to assist with
painting and general yard work.
- Do you have the skills as a
carpenter or electrician and be willing to help as needed?
Our
volunteers are very special people and are appreciated by the Board of
Directors and staff of LCFS. Please consider helping.
